Would someone who has a factory installed NAV please tell me where the antenna is supposed to mount? Thanks!

If I'm not mistaken, I thought it was in the front dash. When I got my car I had a noise coming from my dash and I thought they told me my antenna was loose.

thanks. I wanted to relocate it to where it should go. It looks like I will need to find a longer cable. It is wedged up under the front dash next to the center speaker right now.

I can 100 percent tell you its in the front dash...under the hud trim that goes along the windshield on the right side...You will still need an extension cable to reach that place if it's a custom install as nav equipped wiring harnesses have that cable in them already going to that place from the assembly line.

I temporaily had it in the dash where the radio sits and the reception was crap until i moved it to it's proper place.

On 04-05 there is a gps antenna on the back rack for the onstar module and onstar only, starting 06 it moved in the same antenna as the cell antennas you see on the back of the roof on newer grand prixs.
