Hi all..

Has anyone here done an FWI on their GXP?
I did one on my 97 GTP - it has a nice whine...
I wonder how the V8 sounds...

If so, do you have any pics?
Also of note, is there a sound (throttle) difference vs. stock air box?

Thanks
Frank

Homedepot or Lowes - PVC Pipe, Roof Flashing, and a couple couplers, and filter - Cost is under $40 and is the EXACT same thing.

If you are unable to find a filter to fit into the fender, you can use the spectra slim line filters, or the famous Trashcan mod - This surprised me and looked great when I saw the user do it - The post is in the DIY section i think.

i just made a brand new FWI, i used rigged aluminum air duct (Not the stuff you use for your dryer) got a 2 feet of it, it looks really good

nothing like a cheap 4" intake that works. my touched my intake and the was COLD! make you it is 50F outside... during the warmer months im going to experiment with a heat wrap around it (to keep temps down because it's well....aluminum

total price.... maybe $35,

$24 for the specter intake because k&n is over priced. $6 for the duct $2 for other stuff...and im going to go back and get some more stuff so i can to the whole intake to the TB
