 I talked to a guy today it was like 320 for mufflers, tips, and resonator delete. I found an option at auto zone.here is the part list
2: 18" long 2 1/2" pipes. $8 dollars a piece. 4: 2 1/2" heavy duty exhaust clamps...$3 dollars a piece. 2: ghetto exhaust tips $10 a piece. or 2 nicer tips $25 a piece. Total price= $78 Should be plent loud lol. Just worred to loud for a daily driver. Totally eliminate mufflers keeps resonator/ cats for sound supression

Ok, Cori, this is what I'll say about your idea. Leaving the stock resonator is going to keep your car somewhat quiet, atleast it won't be window shattering loud. Personally IMO I think it will sound like poop because you have no muffler determining the tone of your exhaust note. You'll have some terrible resonation coming out and I'm not sure you'll like it, hence wasting 78 dollars instead of spending an extra 200 for a worthwhile system that you will have for the life of the car. For 300 installed I got the 2 flowmaster super 44's off of performancepeddler.com for 125 shipped for both, two dna 3.5" dual tips off carparts.com for 70 shipped, then paid 100 dollars for install that included resonator delete :) You will be MUCH happier overall with the sound this creates man. But again, what do I know ;) This was in fact IMHO Whatever you decide to do I'm sure it will make you happy, exhaust has a way of brightening your day :)

I gotta go with Chris on this one, go with the mufflers, and the better system, you'll be glad you did

Hell, if you're just wanting a little better sound, you could even do as little as just removing the resonator. Most exhaust shopw will charge somewhere in the $30 range to do so, and replace w/ 3" stainless pipe. This way, you get a little more throat, but not to loud, or much resonation in the cabin. This is what I did only because my wife drives it mostly, and she didn't want the Flows, or Magnaflows on the car in fear of it being to loud. I would try this, before I would do the $78 home made exhaust. Just my $.02

I've heard one without the res and with stock exhaust, it is a little bit louder, but still has the exact same tone. That's the only problem. I probably wouldn't have even realized that he had removed the res if he hadn't told me.
