Is there one that exists or no since it already has the chrome insert around it? If any info please post...

There is one after market kit. From one of the long time running W-body/3800 powered websites.. Just a wire mesh replacement for upper/lower front grill and side grills.

THIS IS NOT MY car. This is just a pic i found of the grill installed.

Looks a lot like the GTO. Not that that's a bad thing.

My buddy Ross painted his grills to match his silver gxp and it looks awesome. :) I think I might pull mine and paint them gloss black. Wouldn't get much out of the cherry paint. I think shiny black would look better on my car. it looks good when done, his is awesome.

Hey, just came over from another forum, very surprised to see a pic of my car on this thread!

Those are the prototype grills, I was the test fitter for the Wbodystore grills. The grills do not have a cutout for the foglights, but they shine through the grills with no noticeable decrease in light/visibility. If you want to cut out for the foglights, the material is only aluminum, which is very easy to cut with just some wire cutters. You could cut out the grills yourself, but because of the diamond pattern, even a perfect circle cut out leaves a lot of irregular edges, which I didn't think would look that well. I have some more pics, and will answer any questions you guys have about those grills.

I think im gonna stick with the stock grill if this is the only choice to go with... the chrome i like but the style looks ugly to me.

No problem with you posting a pic of my car, part of being the test guy was having to put those pics out for others.

The grills do look better from 5 feet away or further. If you get up real close like that they start to look a little "cheaper." Give me a few minutes, I'll find some more pics and post them up.

I took the lower grille out to replace one of the foglight bulbs (it was easier than cutting a hole in the bottom of the bumper) and threw the stock one back in because I wanted to see how it looked.

Yeah, I'm talkin about Rossko, I'll try and get him to post a pic up of his grills, they look amazing, anybody with gray or silver would definitely love it.

I think I like it better with the stock lower piece, having the mesh down there was almost too much.

slipping away, I was looking the W Body store and noticed they have the option of doing a high polish finish. Is the grill that you have just the regular one without that option or is it the high polish?

I would have to agree to that. With the full grill kit it makes the front end to busy almost, to much to look at.

Mine is not high polished. It's just the regular brushed finish.
