First time I've ever really made any effort to clean up the engine bay on my GXP. That engine sure is in there tight! It was only dusty, so all I used was tire shine on the rubber and plastic stuff and spray bottle full of water on the other stuff. Didn't use or need any cleaner. It sure is a shame our cars have an iron block instead of aluminum. That rust is really gross to see when you pop the hood, and it happens to be the ONLY area under the hood that isn't cramped! LOL

I guess you can tell I "missed a spot or two" but it looks good in person.

gotcha...there is an engine paint that a guy showed me that made them look a lot better (silver) but i cant remember what it was

Your thinkin of "cast blast" high temp cast alum. spray paint looks goooood, did it on my 89's manifolds
