and was wondering if you guys can help me find out what it is. First thing I thought of was the MAF and TB being I just got a K&N CAI and maybe needs cleaning to get the oil off of em. Another is a possible tranny issue and I'm gonna make a trip here in a couple weeks to have it scanned and see if anything is up with it. If not then I'm gonna drain the old fluid and put in some new stuff. Stock time 0-60 was supposed to be around 5.7secs right? If so I'm currently getting to 60 in around the 8.4-9 second range atm. The car has 44300 miles on it, and the above mention would be the first time I have done them at all with this car being I've only had it for 10k miles. Im up for suggestions and I know not to make any major decisions until I get a scan done, it makes me wish that I had a program and connections to do it with.

Wow. My silverado will do 0 - 60 in 9 sec. I would guess you have some type of problem, but can't help you with what. Have you tried any fuel system cleaner on the car yet? Maybe a fuel filter change?

Difference in elevation from you and the test location for the stock times? If you are at a much higher elevation than the test vehicle site, you're not going to come close to that time. You may be beating yourself up over nothing.

Altitude isn't gonna make that big of a difference unless he's on top of Everest or something. I did a little test to compare and put my car in 2nd and it still only took less than 7 seconds to get to 60. Is it shifting properly? Bogging down? Sure that didn't stick a V6 in there while you weren't looking, lol? ;-)

Something is definitely wrong for it to be that slow. Do you have any mechanic friends?

Are you having a serious misfire? It should not be that slow.

You get near 60 in first (in the mid-high 4 sec range), does it barely move after 52?

Have a look at these two.

0-100 in 2nd gear

http://s380.photobucket.com/albums/oo24 ... G_0203.flv

0-90 with TC off, bad launch, and back off the throttle too much

http://s380.photobucket.com/albums/oo24 ... G_0199.flv

Any comparison to yours, or does it just pull extremely slow? Because 0-60 in 9 is just terrible.

EDIT: What is they? I beat a 03 Civic by 3-4 cars from 70-100, yesterday. Then lost to a twin turbo Mustang on the way back. Knowing what 'they' is important. ;-)

Charger R/T and Mustang GT manual. both are stock and both pull on me in 2nd gear. I'll get a Vid of 0-100 tonight and post it up.

Pull how bad, because both of those stock vs. stock, run nearly even with the GXP depending on the driver. And unless you exaggerated a bit on the 8-9 sec part, those are some slow cars... From a dig I have problems with Hemis and Mustangs, because I can't launch, but from a roll 25-40, I walk them easily.

2nd gear is horrible in the GXP, a tune and cutout help out a lot, but you still may wanna have it looked at.

Problem solved. Cleaned the TB and MAF and she woke right up.
