Ok V8 guys I was thinking of snagging up a set of used Billstein Struts w/ 30k on them instead of replacing mine soon w/ stock comp g stucts. My questions are how much like are you guys getting out of these? I don't want to have to replace them again for some time. Other question is hows the ride...I've heard they rode like a dream but I plan on lowering on ssc since I have them sitting around and kind of hate how comp g struts ride at least on my towns crappy road.. lmk your opinions. thanks

I've never been in a Comp, but my Bilsteins are wonderful, IMO. I've also heard that the ride doesn't change after lowering with SSCs.

I'm stock height with 53kmi on them and they are going strong. With as many pot holes I have in the road in front of my house i'm surprised.

To me, the bilsteins ride a little better than the Comp G struts, but it isn't a huge difference. I wonder though if ride height would be affected by you putting the GXP struts on a Comp G, since the V8 weights less than the supercharged V6 does? Doubtful, but I would check first.
