Well I have almost 56kmi and, I started to get 1-2 shift shudder under light-moderate acceleration about 2-3 weeks ago. So its been real noticeable the last couple days so I decided to call the dealer closest to me. I was out of warranty by a month and the guy was kind of a dick about it. So, I called the dealer on the other side of town that I bought it from and he said the same thing but told me to call the GM customer care line. They set up an appointment with the dealer on Monday to officially diagnose it so they can continue with the process. Sounds promising so far. Goes to show all dealers are not created equal.

Well, the car behaved perfectly on the way to the dealer and no surprise, it didn't do it when the dealer test drove it. So, they want me to bring it in asap when the car acts up so i can take them for a ride. How did I know this was going to happen. On the bright side, they did not charge me a diagnostic fee. Oh, this is the link to the TSB i was looking at http://ww2.justanswer.com/uploads/Sp...915_094569.pdf

That is what happened to mine but it was 3rd and 4th gear. Took it in, could not find anything worng (no codes) the very next week, the car would sometimes skip 2nd gear all together. Took it back in...they got a code for the transmission valve body brightening. Said they needed to replace the valve body, scheduled an appointment to do it. By the day of the appointment I limped into the shop as the whole tranny died, it would not go into gear, would randomly drop out of gear, and was only able to get it into first if I stopped, shut off the car, waited a few minutes than restarted.

They changed the valve body....that did not fix it, Opend up the rest of the tranny, found it shredded. 18 days later I go my car back as it took them 5 trys to put it together. I have had it 2 weeks and now have a new stutter in 4th gear. almost feels like a stall is about to happen...I back off a little gas, then can accelerate through it. It always happens at the same RPM range, not speed. it is when the car is at about 1750-1900 RPM that it happens when there is a need for slight power as in a minor hill, or the need to adjust your speed a few MPH. Which may be a synchronization issue, or the need for the computer to relearn the tranny. Not quite sure. Though for $4000. the damn thing needs to run like glass.
