Oh its a sleeper alright in that it looks like a Chevy Malibu. Im sorry i think they are crap if the G8 was gona end up like this im glad pontiac died. I understand its a police cruiser one so less luxuries but seriously i been in crown vic cruisers that where nicer then that. Ill keep my GP thank you.

GM is sucking the life out of the Zeta platform and it's quite disappointing since the G8, VXR, Commodore, and Ute all came from it. Even the Holden Stateman at least doesn't look this cheap even though it is the same exact car, then again, I don't like having my taxes increased so police can drive the cheapest car and the market and I'll be better off anyhow.
Maybe some day this country will take a page out of Europe's book and give law enforcement more fuel efficient engines as well. No need for a V8 which just sits and idles for hours on end.

There were a few odd changes from what I see in my G8 vs this car. I like where they put the trunk open button in the center. I got mine in the glove box.

it's not a rebadge comadore like the G8 was it is a rebadged statesmen about 6" longer and diffrent exterior panaling only thing that is the same with the G8 is the suspention and drive train and some interior bits

That weak ass cam they use is the problem. You can grab an LS1 with the same amount of HP but change out that valvetrain and it's a whole new world.
