I think the dark covers look better with black, but you won't be able to see the road good. On my car I'd go with the smoked covers to match my smoked tails. I'd like to do the smoked side markers too.

personally if I had a lighter color G8 I'd only do a light tint. I want 06 tails for the GTO cause they're the same style, and a light tint on them.
