so i stopped at the local dealership to have the cat replaced on my 04 gtp, and guess what was sitting in front of the dealership, a used G8 GT, so i thought i would waste some time and take it for a ride. man was i impressed leaving the one stop sign at about half pedal created that dirt tracking sensation that i miss so much. they want about 18,9 for it with 59k on it. my gtp is an 04 with 43k if the miles were a little less on the G8 i probably would have left my car at the dealership today, i fell in love. so my hats off to you G8 owners......very fun automobile!!

That's stock too, You wouldn't imagine what these cars are like with a few bolt ons and a superchips tune. I am going saturday to put the G8 on the dyno for the first time.

I dont blame you, its easy to leave the GP behind when youre lookin at a G8...RWD, V8 power, the list goes on and on. Im sure you'll have one in a few years when the price goes down

I get about 17 in the city and I have got up too 31 on the highway. This car is just as good if not better than my 2006 Grand Prix GT.

There's a pic to prove.

I went by there right after I got done talking to you and there was a marked state cop sitting there. Then I figured I would give you a hard time. ;-)

Not really, I bought mine used for $20K with 20,000 miles. Plus I got a free upgrade of the 3yr/36K bumper to bumper warranty to 4yr/48K since my G8 was certified. And as I speak my car still has half the miles that the one he test drove did. $19K for a used car with 59K miles isn't much of a deal.

But 2 years ago that car sold for 32-34k, that's a HUGE hit. For a 2 year old car, it's not a terrible price I guess. But it's just really cheap compared to what I figured depreciation was like on them.

I think mine was between 30 and 32K. I don't remember, Plus I had to roll money from my GP into it.

I bought mine a year and a half ago so they seem to be holding their value well. But then I got mine for a steal since there were still a lot of new ones around.
