Well...not my family, but my soon to be 90 year old grandfather just bought one. He traded in his GXP saying it was too slow. I can't wait to drive it. I'm planning on visiting in June for his birthday.

Nice. Your grandfather sounds like a real cool guy. I am sure he will enjoy the G8.

The G8 GT is too slow. Tell him to take it back and get the G8 GXP.

He is a cool guy. We have a blast whenever we visit. I get drive him all around town to do his errands. When he had the GXP he would sit in the passenger seat and say to me "well, are you going to get on it or not!?" I think he gets just as much a thrill with me driving as he does driving himself.

If he knew about the G8 GXP i'm sure he would have considered it.

^^^ And above 7 mph... lol

I had a good laugh at a 90 year old man in a sport sedan with tinted windows and a disabled tag. No offense, just the whole thing amused me a little bit.

I bet some fat lazy people got piss off when sporty look G8 pull in for park it on wheelchair spot because he has one on his rear view mirror. They are about give owner a "trash talk" until he open the door and saw 90 years old man. I bet they are shocked.

Look nice. Lease or own?

Yeah, I thought it was funny seeing the handicapped placard in the window. I'm sure there are people scoping out the car waiting to see who get in it.

He loves it when another car pulls up next to him to take a peek at the driver. Light turns green and there's nothing but tail lights and dust.

Car is paid in full. At 90 years old he didn't really want a car payment.

Well at least he drives it like it's supposed to be driven! I was next to a black GT driven by a woman, she never even looked over at mine and just slowly took off from the light. What a waste for an awesome car to be driven like that.....

Well, Don, unfortunately some people just simply flat out do NOT care about cars. It saddens me too to pull up next to something nice (Beemer, Porsche) to find the Milf driving it doesn't care whatsoever, even ask her what it is she doesn't know...

Yeah to some people it's just transportation, if so they should just get the V6. And she was a MIWLF, she was oogillie!

LOL

You'd think, maybe their husbands make them get the V8s? Or their kids are fat? I dunno.

If she was nasty, she is NOT a milf Don.... Just thought I'd mention that... UNLESS you're into oogillie chicks... :P

Yeah, she needs the extra torque to haul her fat ass family. The V6 would split a block trying lol.

My job is 3rd floor. The 4th floor is lawyer business. They have some nice cars like BMW, Lexus or whatever. Their cars are very dirty. There are lot of nasty brake dust on front wheels. I couldn't understand them. That's shame nice cars are ruined by them.

It's cause they think they're too well-to-do to clean them. I see a lot of women driving cars with filthy front wheels, they just put gas in them and drive.

Agreed. Mine have been trashed by years of driving and mainly winter. having 118,000 + miles will do that. But a nicer, NEWER car... There's no excuse.
