Starting to shop a bit for a G8 to replace my '04 comp g. (that likes to eat transmissions ), and of course you can't always get exactly what you want. I definitely want the remote start option. It looks like it's done with the existing BCM and other parts, and not an extra interface. Obviously I would need the key fob with the extra button, and anything else? Can the BCM be flashed to add the remote start? I know there are aftermarket ones out there, but after looking at the one in my GP, the rat's nest of wires annoys me. That and having a key fob on top of the switchblade key fob...

To my knowledge all G8 GTs have the remote start
