I just get leary as to why someone would trade the car back in after a few months and less then 10k miles.

What would void the warranty? I'd like the New Era OTR intake, pulley, and long tubes with full exhaust.

They are usually rentals, that's what mine is and I have no problems with it. There's no such thing as voiding the warranty, if a mod causes a part to fail, the repair won't be covered.

OOOO I can't wait! A month is too long!

I already researched my mod list.

Stage I
NEP OTR Intake
ASP Pulley
SCT Tune - If I can figure out how to tune :(
BMR Trailling arms, D/S Tunnel brace, and SFC's
Pedder's Rear Subframe bushings

Then over winter.....
Stage II
Longtubes - Full exhaust
Yank 3200 stall
Some flickin'ass chrome 19's....like BBS Spoke style

Then when the car is paid off....
Heads and cam
Possible power adder

Stage I won't be so bad. Maybe $1500. That's all the lady will let me spend until she gets the house updated with a new kitchen, roof, siding, finish basement, etcccccccc

I would go with a ported TB before the pulley. Or both if you can swing it, NEP only charges like 75 bucks for one so you may as well add that to the list regardless.

What I really, really, really want but wont be able to slide past the wife is a cam.

Ya I probably won't do a cam until the car is paid off. A buddy of mine ports TB's and intakes so I'll get it done for a 6 pack :)

My buddy just drove off the lot in a black GT loaded with every option BUT 19's. He paid 29k out the door for an 09.

I'm on the hunt now for one of the first 888 G8's....It's gonna take me probably 2-3 months to find one with the color/options I want nearby!

Yea I saw that penguin guy's thread. I just want one so I can say I have one. You know like those people that got the 02SS 35th cars. However, I'm thinking when the 2010 models roll to the dealers in May-June, they will be offing the 09's pretty cheap.
