So, my G8 is finally in the shop!

They are going to tear down the entire front right suspension and make sure nothing is wrong with it. And replace the bits that are....
And they are replacing the front end of the car (the bumper cover) And hopefully getting a GXP front end put on it. The guy at the body shop said they could probably do that since they are the same price as the GT/Sedan covers. BUT, they are going to check to make sure they would fit the same first.

And for my loner....I had a Cobalt.
But they let me take it back and they gave me an 09 Malibu instead.

Its a nice car actually. Its really just a Grand Prix underneath though. Its really comfortable to ride in, and it has a cool dashboard.
And the blinkers sound like 2-bit sounds from Pac-Man! Its kinda funny!
The car aint really got balls though.
It only has a 4 cylinder Eco-Tec. In a car that weighs as much as a Grand Prix (04+) and more than a G8 lol....

Those new Malibu's are nice looking cars. I can only imagine how gutless the 4 banger would be.

As Dave said, the interiors are awesome on those things.

The four cylinder in the current Malibu is about 175HP. Yeah, it's lacking the torque of a six, but it's probably quicker than you think. It's also not a GP, either. It's the same car as the Saturn Aura, which is not a W-Body. The V6 in those cars makes a heady 260+ hp from a 3.6 litre mill, with VVT, four valves per cylinder, and DOHC.

Yeah, well, actually adam did, we were driving back down here to Yuma, and it was dark. And we were goin through hills about 15 miles from the I-70/I-15 junction...It was already dead, but we still hit it.
It bent the front right strut and tie rod, and messed up the bumper cover enough to the point where i have to replace it.
I actually got my car back the other day, and the suspension on the right side has started making a knocking noise when i go over small bumps....So i gotta call them on it....
And the bumper cover is on its way from Holden.

It was nuts, because the entire car rode up on two wheels when he hit it too.....
The blood spatter was kinda cool lookin too. I didnt get any pictures because it was dark, and it smelled royaly of rotten dog shit that had been left out for a week then dunked under water, rubbed with onion, then baked......
