Just wondering what everyone is getting fuel mileage wise on the g8. So far I have been averaging 18mpg. But I only have 1,500 miles on it. Mine has been probably 80% highway and 20% city driving. I have stretched 20mpg out of her but I really have a hard time staying out of the pedal that long

Mine is pretty rough, a lot worse than I thought it'd be. During the colder times we've had here (30's and below) I've been lucky to gethigh 13's, and thats with a 7.5 mile drive in the city in the morning and a 7.5 mile drive on the highway in the evening. Right now Im getting in the mid 15's now that the temps have warmed up. And Im barely getting in to it, maybe just a little here and there but for the most part Im trying to keep it under 3000rpm, which in this car isnt hard to do with the excellent gearing, 6 speeds, and all that power down low.

I have been mostly city and am probly getting 13 or a lil lower, I just passed the 500 break in recently, lol, so I get into her more.. I believe I got 24 when I took her home from RI, and I raced a Mustang and a Vette, not at full throttle either...

Wait til summer. Then take your MPG readings. You mentioned it, winter MPG sucks.

I'm getting 15 in the city and I'm usually driving it pretty hard. The tune and CAI seems to have increased my gas mileage, even though I get on it more. Nick you're gonna love that tuner!

Don, once you get the hid's installed post pics please. I am thinking about getting some for my car but would like to see how they look in our projectors first.

Just installed HID's myself, bought a kit from Jettstream on the GRRR8 forum for 110 shipped. Slim mount ballasts, 35w 6000k. I love 'em so much I've been keeping them on during the day just cuz they look so cool lol.
