So, I'm driving on the highway back home to Michigan from Chicago and......I see a G8 coming up from behind me. So I say to the wife, here comes a G8, I love those cars. And it passes us and it says G9 and not G8. What the hell is a G9?

Maybe just some BS I guess. It did have different rims then I'm used to seeing and it was completely black with red calipers. Don't know if that means anything.

lol, maybe the whole "G8 Firehawk" idea fell through and it's a last ditch effort...... Haha, actually, it's probably like one of the other guys stated: a G6 emblem on a G8 sports car with the 6 flipped upside down to look like a 9. Probably just some douchebag with 5 grand to blow on rims so he does just that and while he's at it decides to change vehicle badging to say G9 and thinks he's being innovative....pfft, riight

Probably is, or like Lester said, a dealer put the upside down 6 on there, got the calipers painted and put different rims on it and sold it as a limited edition G9 to some doooooosh
