Good day,

I was just wondering what the standard G8 warranty is/was for a 2009 model?

Is it a 100K Powertrain warranty? and that covers tranny/engine.....axles?..anything else? Would a CAI void the warranty....??
Custom tune??

Just asking for future reference!

They won't bother you with an intake unless it's discovered to be sucking in water.

yes... 100K engine/ tranny- dont know how much farther it goes from there.

Mine has the 100K powertrain, And I think it was 50K body.. Or around there. As far as voiding a warranty over a intake, I think that is against the law here.. Unless they discover that it was the cause of the failure.. Like Anthony said, Sucking in water or something.

You need to be able to flash the stock tune in order to remain in the warranty.

Yes, Which is why most of us went with Superchips. I plan on doing a dyno tune once its off warranty, Along with Kooks headers.
