I got to test drive a G8 GT with my GF's family on Saturday. Her dad drove first and I was in the back seat. As he was driving I kept thinking to myself, "This is pulling pretty good." Then I got to drive it second and realized that he hardly touched the gas pedal the entire time he drove. I barely got on it and it pulled hard. I love that car now. There is really nothing I don't like about it. The screen functions take a little getting used to but everything else is just amazing! My gf's dad loved it, but unfortunately they are out of his price range right now.

Poncho it doesn't surprise me that you liked the G8, it's a great car. It sounds like you will buying one some day. I haven't lost the thrill of driving mine and I've had it almost 4 months now.

Mike it's a good thing you didn't have much time on your hands that nite, otherwise you would have driven the G8 until it was on empty! I just received a Volant CAI today, when I get it on we'll have to see what she can do.

Because I saved a lot of money buying it slightly used from a member. Plus it has dry filter so the dealer shouldn't hassle me about it for warranty work, and it fills the big hole on the side of the engine bay. Is that enough good reasons for you? Besides all CAI's are pretty much the same, I'm not racing the car professionally.

Mike there will be NO mailbox wacking in my car! I like my shiny red paint with no dents in it.....

In that case, I'll bring a set of slicks with me.
I can't wait to get the clutch fluid changes so I can beat on her.. I just need to figure out if it's the clutch fluid, the slaver cylinder of the clutch, or the clutch itself.. hopefully it's the fluid.. if not then the slave cyl.. only good thing about it being the clutch is I can put in a good clutch and I know people who will be willing to help me on that.

The clutch isn't attached to the hydraulic line, so it must be in the clutch cylinder. If you remove the old fluid and put some fresh stuff in there you should be good to go. And slicks aren't allowed when we race because I don't have any.
