i was thinkng about getting a used G8GT but wanted to ask about the quality of the leather... is it the same "leather" that GM puts in the rest of the cars or does it carry over from holden by some chance? i know the quality of the GTO seemed better and I was told it was better.

what do you guys say? better than the "leather" they put in the GP???

From what I have read in the other forums, its better than typical GM leather but not quite as nice as GTO leather. I have no complaints, it seems sturdy enough to put up with the daily abuse that denim jeans but its still somewhat soft at the same time, either way its TONS better than the GP pleather. And it smells pretty nice too

thanks for the input.. the one i was interested in at my local dealer i found out didn't have leather so I didn't bite... i'll have to go and check out the quality at some point.

Good luck on finding one with leather. Seems all the best ones aren't being traded lol.
