Does anyone know what the wheel specs for the G8 gxp's are (backspacing and lug specs)

The bolt pattern is 5x120.

My guess is the offset is +40 and they are probably 8 inches wide. Not 100% sure on it, just an educated guess.

I believe you are correct with 40, for some reason 44 comes into my head, and you are def correct with 8" wide

Let the wheel guru help you folks out here. The offset on the G8 wheels is 48mm, and the bolt pattern is 5x120 as Guz correctly stated. The bolt pattern on the Grand Prix is 5x115 so the G8 wheels will not fit the GrandPrix, and it's not even close. Some people put 5x114.3 wheels on the GP but I don't recommend it, that can lead to broken lug studs.

If you get adapters your offset will be way off and that will cause issues. I wouldn't try it on a GP personally.

i know the off set will be off. I would probably have close to 2 inches of poke. but thats why i would pull the fenders and quarters.

You can get 1" spacers, some guys have put them on their G8's with the stock wheels. You might be able to get by with just rolling the fenders if you did that. Actually I don't think the 18" G8 wheels look that great, they're ok but I've seen better. The 19" wheels are nice but 19" tires are expensive.

yes.. they are. Take that from me, I paid 800 is tires alone for the GTO. While I can get a set of 17'' slicks for cheaper than my 2 back tires..

Yes, very true. What tires are you considering?

Just be careful when you roll/cut fenders. Mine are rolled but not enough so I have to cut the entire fender lip off in order to keep my 275's on there. And at the same time you don't want a GP 4x4 that's super lifted to fit them.

Just do what i have done to my 18s!

I personally think the factory 18s and 19s dont look good, but only because of the color...The design is fine for both, but its too much painted silver.
