Well, I tell you what, Laura. My birthday is comin' up. Buy me one for my birthday, and I'll let you drive it.

I'll put that on the list, might be kind of tight but I'll try .......
I could go get one right now. I am pre-approved for a $50,000 loan, but like I said I just don't want a car note right now. My husband and I are focusing on paying off our house now, we have less than 9 years left on the mortage. So we are trying to put more towards that, so we can pay down our principle. And have our house paid for in full much sooner than we expected.

I finally got to the pictures, of the GXP. Again these were taken with my phone, sorry foe the quality. And I didn't take a whole bunch since my car was ready to go.

Yes, it has the red/black seats, I should have taken some shots of the cars. If I am back up in that area in the next few days, and the car is still there, I'll snap some more shots.

Love the GXP's ... just not too fond of the rims, IMO they should've used the GT rims on the GXP ...

GXP's dont cost 50 stacks unless youre a complete fool and actually WANT to pay 50 large for one. Should be able to get them for less than 40k if you play your cards right.

I was referring to the article posted by RKELC .... with that system, total base cost is 50 stacks+ .... I know a bone stock GXP is around 30 I believe, n that seems reasonable ........ but 50? nah

I would love to have silver Pontiac G8 but I love mine. I guess no car payment is better than nothing. My summer car payment was over 3 years ago. My mom is accounting. She pay it off very fast for me. ;) It is nice to have insurance very way low too. Oh well, at least I'm really happy with mine right now as long there is no car payment. ;)

I never said they were $50,000 that is what my bank has me approved for as far as a loan is concerned. If I was to buy the car, I would first check with my uncle who works for a dealership. He would give me a price to work with the dealerships up here, and if they won't accept my offer then I go to him. Plain and simple I get a family price, so I get great deals. When I bought my fully loaded CompG on July 18, 2003, I paid $27,198 out the door. Which included taxes, tags, a 6yr/72k "Platinium" extended warranty, and paint sealant. The only thing my CompG doesn't have is side curtain airbags.
