Smart move for once... As long as it doesn't look like that Chevy Caprice prototype/whatever then we're good...

Eh I don't like the fact they are throwing Chevy badges on it.

You can always buy a G8 front bumper shell (assuming they will remained matching) and just swap 'em out. I don't care much for a bowtie either, but it could be worse.

Yea I'd rather just buy a used G8 GXP when they get cheaper then a new one from chevy. They would really need to add some sweet shit to convince me to buy a Chevy. Don't get me wrong I love GM, but I'm one of those materialistic douche bags that likes higher priced brands lol. Even If I do only buy them used.

I like it. Quit your bitchin'. GM needs a good high quality rear drive V8 powered car outside of the Cadillac brand. This car is it. Those that own a G8 know what it is. Front wheel drive is not where it's at, and the new rear drive offerings in the market prove it. I think this is a wonderful move on GMs part.

For the masses. The Camaro isn't. What I meant and should have typed was a V8, rear drive, sedan.

The first year of production they built roughly 120,000 Camaro's (2010 model year) I would count that as a car for the masses, wouldn't you?

Honestly I would buy this over a newmaro...similar to the same reason Joe brought up...practicality.
My choices were between the newmaro and g8 and the reason im looking for a g8 now is that living with my girlfriend we travel alot and a newmaro just wouldnt seem like it has the trunk/luggage space to make for a comfortable drive, or to take a few friends along for a extended drive.

I don't like the grill, but it could be a heckuva lot worse. I'd still buy it and find a G8 bumper shell to swap out (if it'd work again lol)

The new Camaros are terrible. I can't believe how many people actually buy them and how much they buy them for. They're bloated, cosmetically unappealing, the interior is just awkward. The best part about the new Camaro is the powerplant (LS3 in the manual cars) but with only 420hp hauling around 4000 pounds there are cars for much, MUCH less money that overshadow the Camaro in damn near every way. Have you sat in one? The blind spots are worse than on a Corvette (which I didn't think was possible) without much of a backseat. The new challengers have an awesome backseat, much better interior and teh SRT model is faster. People only like the Camaro because they have nothing else to like, if there is a 6th gen hopefully it will be better. If I wanted a coupe like that, I'd still have a GTO or a Challenger. For a 4 door I'd want a G8 GXP or a CTS-V. Would never consider a new Camaro, and I think a lot of the reason people buy them is because of lack of things to buy right now.

First of all let me say that the new 2010+ Camaro's are not "terrible", they are actually a huge improvement on the 4th gen (94-02') Camaro's. Second there are a few things wrong with what you said. The Manual has 426 HP not 420, the car weighs 3,860 not 4,000 lbs. The SRT Challenger is NOT faster than the SS Camaro. The Challenger weighs more than the Camaro by almost 400 lbs. That is all.

Doesnt change the fact that The Marrow is for people mostly who just want a generic cool car not a performance car. Performance people went pontiac bumpkins went chevy or atleast thats my experience with Camaro and Firebird owners. Ill never Buy a Camaro cause I only want its banished brother the Firebird.

I'm not a fan of the Camaro either. Just don't like the boxy shape, or low roof line, or small trunk opening.

As for a new Chevy Caprice, if they make it in North America then I will be interested but as of right now I don't buy imports.

Don't worry, the profits go to Detroit still. I wouldn't necessarily call these Holdens imports.

Sorry. No thanks. The G8 looks WAY better. Love a four door.

Yea, 4 door V8s are the best. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to grab a GTO but I will always have a high powerd 4 door sedan.
