Actually it's 53hp more (362 vs 415) and I can get 40-50hp with a tune/CAI/headers. The rest of the parts will bolt right on the GT, and I'm sure we'll see them on Ebay for cheap, just like the parts from the GP GXP. Considering I paid $20k for my GT, I can sink a few grand into it and keep up with a stock GXP for $15K less.

i thought it was 355 on the 09's...either way my math sucks lol

and i was talking MSRP, you can prob talk down a gxp too

32k for a gt 39k for a gxp

Its approx 355bhp with 87, maybe thats what you saw. These cars can accept 87 octane or 93, somehow it senses it and adjusts timing accordingly. However I believe that any price savings you get from cheaper 87 is wiped out by reportedly worse fuel economy on 87 due to the pulled timing. Thats what I have read, and so far I have been getting crappy mileage on 87. I think Im gonna try 93 on the next fill-up and see how it does.

And nobody is paying 32k for a GT, maybe 30k at the most, but I doubt anyone is going to get a dealer down to less than 37k for a GXP at the very least. I can see most of these cars selling for close to 40k due to their rarity. You should be able to easily save 10 grand going with a GT as opposed to a GXP, and even more if youre willing to get a used GT. I doubt you'll see any used GXP's going for less than 35k for a while. We'll see though :)

I've been using 89 octane and my car runs good. When it gets warmer outside I'll switch to 93 because warmer air decreases the performance.
