Here's a great video that will show you how to remove the radiator hoses from your Grand Prix.

This is exactly why I won't let anyone but myself touch my car. That guy is manhandling everything and making a huge mess. Invest in some freakin' vise grips. Makes taking the bands clamps off about a million times easier than he's doing.

^^Same here, granted I don't have the factory style clamps anymore, but I prefer to use a 1/4" drive speed handle, extensions and sockets instead of a flat blade screwdriver. When I worked on cars with factory clamps, I had one of these: Ratcheting Cable Operated Hose Clamp Pliers (Sears sells them for around $40) Perfect for getting into tight spaces.. ;-)

I unfasten the lower hose to drain the radiator as well, and have done so without making a mess like in the video. I wouldn't let that guy near my snowthrower, let alone my cars..

I don't really see anything he did wrong.....so he spilled coolant rinse it with some water. As far as manhandling....I've had to take a razorblade to some hoses because they just don't come off no matter how hard you twist pull or pick

I guess im a shitty mechanic to huh lol :P

I really don't care if I spill some coolant. They make tons of cleaning products to handle that.
