Updated ... this is only needed on the 04, GM fixed the problem for the 05+ cars.

Hey guys,

Question. I have an 04 GTP Comp G with the shakey dake lights at night something awful. Where do I get this mouting kit? I search the part numbers on yahoo but I get a trillion results with nothing refering to the car.

I'd love to eliminate this problem as I'm starting to get flashed by other drivers, lol.

Thanks in advance,
Aaron

I've never seen a headlight less secured in a header panel. :/

Yes, but it doesn't eliminate all shake. It merely makes them shake less. But less is good.

wonder why the never recalled this issue. I would love to take mine back to the dealer and tell them to fix it with the 05+ mounts.

For the DIY install. Instead of drilling and tapping a hole in the rad support could you use a large self tapper with a washer? I dont have a tap set and i know they can be kind of pricey.

This may sound dumb, but if i type in the part number is that for one side? For instance, i went on GMpartsdirect.com and typed in the part number and its coming up $9.89. Is that for both headlights or just one bracket for one side? I want to order these today!

That's for the complete kit that does both sides.

I put my kit in yesterday. Huge difference. The holes on the radiator support were already there so that was a nice suprise.
This thread was very helpful (my kit came with no instructions).
