interesting i guess....too bad if you arent doin a proper wash you are adding scratches to your paint by grinding the dirt that is still on the paint....takes me 30 minutes max to wax and remove my Adam's Americana wax so i have no complaints with how long it takes me to wax my car.

for the most part you are washing correctly....might wanna invest in a grit gaurd to get any dirt off your sponge so its not being introduced back onto the paint.

well the verdict on the wax.... The wax was easy to apply i would apply to a section and rince and doing the whole car took about 20 minutes. The wax made the water beed up far more then the wash/wax i had been using it was kinda like when u poor water on a kids crayon drawing lol, in the morning the car was quite a bit more reflective it was before hand only reflecting shapes of things around it now you can see colors and details of things reflecting off it and in the right light a girl could do her hair by looking at the hood or so i think gota test that with my girl friend lol. Now of course its a gold car so it doesnt show the shine as well as black or dark blue would but it does seem to work and for 10 bux and 20 minutes id say its definatly worth while.

this prestone stuff is nothing new. Eagle one has there was as you dry which is the same thing except you dont rub it in and most spray waxes like meguiars quik wax can be used on a wet car and lucas slick mist can also be used on a wet car. If you want your car to have some bling for a date night or something sure go with this but if you want your car to be protected you need an actual wax like DP 08 GXP was talking about Adams Americana Wax. I use it and love it and I dont care if it takes me and extra 20-30 minutes to wax my car. plain and simple within lets say a month my car will be beading like crazy and yours wont.

well The wax has lasted. I went ahead and washed the car and reapplied the wax to half the car. and the car looked the same practically on both sides so i guess it does survive atleast a little bit.
