I've always used this with good results: Turtle Wax spray bug and tar remover

For more choices, check out : http://www.autogeek.net/tarbug.html

I tried a clay bar on the sap I had on the Sedan, no luck. I have a hard time using Goo-Gone on my Sedan, so the sap is still there and clay residue from trying to pull it off :/

Get some 3M Adhesive Remover. It does work. Takes some effort, but it works.

I use WD-40, or some other penetrating oil and my finger and roll it off. Sounds crazy, but works EVERY time, just takes some elbow grease.

I'm just reading this one and I'm wondering how a mixture of hot water and Vinegar would work?

I use isopropyl alcohol. Apply a dab on said tree sap, then quickly wipe away with a microfiber cloth. It's cheap, and effective.

IPA 60 or 90?

Isopropyl Alcohol, I know. That's what I've always used as well, seems to work well.
