so i work at advance auto and recently we had some stuff go on clearance.that i bought up. Turtle wax ice liquid clay bar.. anyone use it? how'd it work? also went on clearance was 3M cleaner wax and 3M performance wax... anyone use it? results? how'd you like it?.. i bought 3 of everything just cuz it was cheap.. if i paid full price, i would've spent over $120 for all this stuff.. bt i only spent $15 since it was on clearance and with my empoyee discount.. i figured i couldn't go wrong..

the liquid clay bar is a joke, but the 3M stuff is alright.

sorry to shock this topic back to life, but i was doing a set of headlights and a guy mentioned that he used the liquid clay bar and some 2000 grit to get the look i get (hardcore restore look) ? anyone know if theres any truth to this

If you use 2000 grit you will take of the coating on the lights, You need to re-apply the coating of they will turn yellow very quickly..
