a 2009 buick enclave was hers....just finished it up today...the paint was in pretty good shape...they only took it through touchless car washes and air dried it on the way home so there isnt goin to be a lot of "wow" shots of the exterior...the interior was a different story....enjoy

on the paint i use my flex 3401 buffer with Adams swirl and haze remover on an orange pad followed up by Adams' fine machine polish on a white pad...i wax it with Adams machine super wax....i top that with Adam's brilliant spray glaze which adds depth and that extra shine.

you would be correct...it m new 94 lol....gxp is getting parked for the winter and the 94 is goin to be my DD/winter beater....its a lil rough around the edges but for $500 i couldnt turn it down.

thanks...its not real hard to be honest....all i use is Adam's all purpose cleaner on the whole engine....agitate that with 1 of the 3 brushes depending on what i need to get at....rinse it off....i dress it with Adam's vinyl rubber and tire dressing and for areas i cant reach i ue Adam's in and out spray.

These look great man. I mostly just creep on your detailing thread but I'm always amazed with the way everything turns out. I really need to look into a flex, I don't think the pc is going to cut it anymore.

thanks Kyle....the flex was a great investment since i started to detail on the side...it cut damn near 2 hours out of my polishing time and it gave better results.....if you are comfortable with your PC i dont think you would have any problems moving up to the flex

is the flex a random orbital or straight up orbital buffer?

it is a dual action orbital and also has forced rotation so unlike the PC it wont bog down when you apply pressure.....since it still does the random orbital it is what makes it safer then a roatary but there is still a small chance of burning through the paint if you let it sit on one spot with a lot of pressure but you would have to be trying to burn through it

you get my pm? i forgot one thing i use on the wheel wells...its Adam's inivisble undercarriage spray....makes the plastic in the wheel a nice mat black so it doesnt stick out like a sore thumb.

Yes, I got your PM.. that's a lot for me to invest in for only doing my truck once or twice a year. Money would be better spent driving to NW Ohio I think lol

yeah i know what you mean....since i do it on the side i am able to make enough to cover the investment and then some so if you are just goin to do it 1 or 2 times a year there is probably a cheaper route then mine

Looks good!

Question... How do you keep the black from marring again after applying the wax? I tried applying the wax by hand but received the same results as I would be applying it with the PC at a low speed and LC black finishing pad. Every now and then I'll have the misfortune of a complete correction on a panel of the GTP until buffing off the wax where there is minor marring from removing. I use a clean Cobra (Purple) Microfiber to buff.
