Im sure a lot of you will get a kick out of this but im in need of help. The previous owners dog got sick all over the passenger side floor of the car. Instead of cleaning it he just threw a floormat on it. Well a week after owning this car I discover where this awful smell was hiding. I've tried everything. Different shampoos. Baking soda. Brake cleaner I tried soaking it then sucking it up with a vet vac...al that did was make my wet vac smell. Im out of ideas but the warmer it gets the worse it smells. I didn't smell it all winter but we hit 50 today and it brought it out.

Any ideas?

You could try pulling the carpet up and cleaning the backside of it, but if that fails...

Rock Auto sells molded carpet in OE colors (Auto Custom Carpet) for less than going directly to ACC, if you want new stuff.

You could take it out and take a pressure washer and wash and scrub the shit out of it. If that doesn't work, buy that carpet from Morad's.

if you can do the work yourself you may get lucky at a local yard. i boght the WHOLE interior (headliner to carpet and dash to rear deck and door panels and evrything inbetween) for $100 bucks. so i am sure 50 bucks could buy a decent carpet if you can find one. if not 150 for new is good too.

Or you could spend like $3-$5 on baking soda from the grocery store open it and let it sit over night. Thats of course if its just the smell and theres no actual shit in the seat.
