I'm just starting to look at all the products and watching videos. I'm surprised how many brushes there are just for the wheels. All I do to clean out the wheel is just remove the wheel and wash it out   By the time he pulls out the drill- I'm like.. you gotta be kidding me! Then again this is for detailer's and not the motor-head do-it-yourself guy.

I see you have gmpp jack stands under the front. Are the ones under the back a new model, or perhaps a different brand? hahaha

sure have.....here are a few pics of the results on chrome

Image

from adam's website on aluminum...i dont have any

http://www.adamsforums.com/forums/newre ... y&p=194870

those were really neglected so as long as they arent to bad you can use the metal polish with a blue hex pad with #1 and finish with #2 on a microfiber applicator

After owning a set of chrome rims...I'll never buy another set again. I'll stick with my oem rims that don't get corrosion from all the brake dust.

I managed to filter out what I mostly needed. I was thinking about getting the flex polisher, but then I saw the price tag! Only question I got for you guys is when should I install the VE vinyl? Just after I clay bar the car? Has far has care...should I go over it with the polisher or hand polish it? I believe I should use the VT on it right since it's part plastic.

you want to install it on bare paint so after you clay wipe it down with a mixture of 50/50 water and rubbing alcohol.....as far as the stripes i wouldnt machine polish them....i know guys with matte stripes hand polish them with revive and a blue hex pad and put a coat of americana or buttery on them....just gotta stay away from the edges when claying and polishing them.

There are a few things off that list...

Armorall brake dust and crap repellant for the rims
Armorall interior wipes
RainX glass cleaner
Small detail brush

Just got weather tech floor mats and the gm cargo liner is coming in :)

Ya... I plan on mixing products really. Trying to see how I like the whole kit first then customize it with other stuff. I wasn't completely sold on the shampoo for the car. The in and out spray I did!! :D

Tell me how this compares to Zaino (if you've ever used it). I'm really interested in possibly getting Adams but they are still pricey like Zaino.

10x better than Zaino..

You definitely get what you pay for with Adam's.. If your not satisfied, they have a 110% guarantee.. Plus, most product will actually last you a while if you use it properly.. less is more..

step over to adamsforums.com and you can further your research and see some of the transformations.. shoot me a PM when you join..

My $.02......u get good results with both but zaino has a lot more steps to achieve the same results plus adams fixes the paint where zaino has more of a filler affect
