Uhm, yeah, wow.

Still a beautiful car, just needed to be cleaned up from 4 years of neglect. Oxidized and swirled paint, no shocker for this car. Fortunately wasn't single-stage.

Products Used:
Dawn & Orange Cleaner Mix (no detail spray, just used water/dawn mix.
Zaino Clay Bar
Meguiar's Compound (first round, did not cut enough)
Meguiar's M105 with Lake Country Orange Pad
Meguiar's Carnuaba Wax with Lake Country Finishing Pad

50/50's:




The left side is uncorrected, you can see that it was taking an eggshell white shade of color. This is a 50/50 of only M105, nothing else:


This was the right front fender uncorrected (dull)


The right front fender; corrected and wax. (Clear and more apt to take in a vivid reflection)


Trunk lid, difficult to capture, had to darken the picture to show some of the exposure. Crystal clear in person, not so much in camera:

Wow, you're getting pretty good with that thing! Out of curiosity, could you post a list of the products you use? I am debating on buying that suitcase sized kit from Zaino, but I like the results you post.

Fixed I wouldn't invest in Zaino though, I bought the starter kit and haven't been too thrilled with the results. I think it's because of lack of patience, it takes 15 minutes for the wax to cure and while it can be done in sun or shade... 15 minutes is 15 minutes. I've had wonderful results with Meguiar's and have contemplated moving to Adam's to try my hand a few things.

To each their own, but you'll want to literally try a bit of everything to find what you like. With me, I like the Zaino Clay bar over Meguiar's and Mother's. I like Meguiar's Carnuba Wax over anything else and of course I haven't found results to match Meguiar's 105/205 combination in the removal of swirls and defects.
