Well it looks like I'm stuck with my stock head unit unless I want to wait and fork over a ton of money. I knew about this issue before I got the G8, but I didn't mind if much. So... has the title states, I'm looking for a good sound processor recommendation. I usually go for Pioneer stuff- I already got the speakers, 12" subs, and the power acoustic amps.

What are you looking to accomplish with the processor?

To hook it up to the stock sound system to get better sound. I'll also get the outs for the amps.

Look into the rockford 360.2, the 360.1 is garbage IMO... as with all REAL processors they're pricey but with give you tonssss of options. A cheaper route would be getting a set of splitters and a nice 4 channel amp and a set of nice component speakers.

Old topic but for the sake of other members looking for answers...I vote the JBL MS8. It can be had from an authorized dealer for ~$500 on amazon.com. Retail is ~$800.

Ya.. I decided to go with inline converters and the sound is pretty decent to me. Just rather spend the big money performance stuff
