I've been thinking of getting my windows tinted and can never get a straight answer on how dark is legal in Ohio. I went to Ziebarts website and thy had a nifty link to the regulations for every state.

Front doors window 50%
Rear doors window any %
Rear view window any %
No windshield but can tint like 6 inches on top only I think.

Yeah but it was 2004. I saw 2008 link now rear doors & rear window for any %. I forgot where I found it. I have mine tint last year after checking the tint law. Police cars have been behind my car sometimes. I don't have any problems from them.

hmm that's strange. I thought it was 2008 but it still say 2004. That's how I found this link last year.

michiagn back windows any %
front windows only alow a 6" strip of any %
and the windshield can only be tinted as far down as the stock blue strip in any%

so if i want to get technical in my truck i can have the back window and the side windos tinted as long as my "front" vent windows are un-tinted

are you sure that 6" strip for the front windows is actually for the windshield?

The Michigan law is the most idiotic law i've seen on this! A 4" strip on the front windows. Talk about looking completely stupid. The way it reads is that the rest of the window would be clear.....Yuck.
