satin might be easier
but ya flat black is not as annoying as gloss because of the wax and buffing, but it'll show any dirt really easily as spots and streaks

Nooooooooooooo!!1!!!!11!1one!!!eleven!!

I hate trailer queens. Cars were made to be driven. I will drive my 68 firebird until the wheels fall off, bolt them back on and do it again! Also why I refuse to get some rediculous $20k paint job on it though lol

I couldn't agree with you more ;) I hate trailer queens. It has 4 wheels and an engine, USE them!

I thought about a matte black on the G8, but after seeing some pictures... I'm not convinced. Vinyl wrap would be the way to go though. Somewhat cheaper.

Yep. One of these days I am probably going with satin black fender stripes or something but haven't decided for sure I want them at all.

Although I think I am going to plastidip the inferno spoiler I picked up recently and throw that on like that to see how it looks.

yeah but PD is cheaper and easier. I'm lazy lol. Besides, my car is garaged at home and work so it isn't sitting in the sun for extended periods of time. This is a temporary solution until I get my car painted anyways. The back bumper cover is F'ed up a bit and I have plenty of minor scratches and stuff that need to be taken care of. So it will get actually painted when I do that.

I believe the Sonic's that me and my buddy frequent to would be located in... Wyoming? Just south of GR. Just right off the freeway next door to a Steak 'N Shake (which, by the way, has delicious food!)

Yeah, my coworker has a flat-black truck and you can definitely tell where the dirt is on it. Looks great, but incredibly hard to take care of, I agree.

I'm going to try to make it to one of the Sonic meets sometime. I'm towards the east side of Michigan. Grand Rapids is about 2 hours away. Maybe I'll shoot out there sometime in spring / summer.

I believe that the Sonic's meet is starting up in Spring, and by then I'll probably be down in GR a few more times this year yet. I love you Michiganders. The can-do attitude is something Minnesotans really lack. Plus a total disregard for road rules..

Got my Inner Tie Rod end replaced, I'll be doing the stow-away plate soon, just ordered it off of Amazon. I'm excite!

Thanks for the compliment.

Some items on the list of apperance things to do:
Clear corners
Retint
Chrome/polished grills
Cut out the lower front valence-still in the air on this one.

Engine bay needs some serious attention which I will be working on soon. However, appearnce items are hard to do when there's a snail under the hood and I'm a performance oriented person. LOL
