No front sides at all in Il, found that out and stripped it off in less than a month. Hoffman Estates were the ones that had the problem, i drove everywhere else and not even a second glimpse. Whatever and life goes on........

I wonder how hard it would be to get your state to change their tint law.. michigan is one of 4 states that do not allow front window tint... WTF?

For cars here in TN it's 35% all around with 6" strip on top of windshield.

I hear ya man... I've got a guy down the street from me with 5% all the way around... and I know he doesn't have a medical reason for it and he doesn't get bothered... I had my tint for 2 weeks and got pulled over twice and had to remove it :(

Duh, it's sunny in FL. I figured they'd allow tint up front.

I guess it a chance you are will to take!!!

I agree...The darker, the better!!

Now I need some tinting...The only problem is that there is not much competition in my area so they want HUGE $$$ to do mine....Let's say in the $200 plus range!!!

imho worth it cause they use the highest grade 3m stuff and the warranty is unbeatable.

Good found for tint state law.

Ohio
front door window 50% who care lol
rear door window any % yay
rear window any % yay

Mine is 10% around but never done on windshield. I'm thinking tint front window strip like 5 inches on top. Stock windshield tint is suck.

I have 5% all around on mine also. Like I tell my friends here, use common sense. If/when you get pulled over just roll down both or just front if coupe windows BEFORE the officer walks up. As long as ppl use courtesy with me I will NEVER ticket for windows and will never pull ppl over just for windows. Just remember tho, it does give them a reason to pull you over evrytime. Always a balls to the walls cop in every Dept... couple in mine lol.

when ever i am pulled over i roll down all the windows shut the car off and throw the key on top of the dash. most of the time you can see the cops get more relaxed when they notice that.

In my case i gave the cop respect but, he wasnt givin anything back my way. And he told me that was the reason he pulled me over for the fronts. If i was speeding or driving like an ass, then i would understand the reason. To top my morning off cop said i was pulled over before.I was like no this is first time and new car so i was f%^&ed anyway. I asked hey, got a blade? ill do it now. Of coarse he didnt, doesnt hurt to ask .

The Cops in California carry blades, they stand with you and watch you peel it.

It seems here in AZ they really dont care what you have on the front side windows. Ive been pulled over twice since ive had my GP and they dont say anything, and i know mine are darker than legal. didnt know that we could have any darkness on the back sides and rear window.

I paid 75 bucks to tint mine. Average tinting will cost about 150 here, buts its easy to find guys at the tint shops that do it out on their garage for cheaper.

RI...70% but i got a great idea,

1. my mom has a doctors note she can have wicked dark her outlander like like 30 or some shit.
2. im photolight sensative (bright lights will give me migranes)
3. the GP is still regestered under her name since i was 17 when it got regestered.

since i have a GP the cops really wont bother me unless i drive like an idot which i dont. my jeep was really really dark in the back 5 windows, and the front were like my moms backs. that was all factory. but when my friend had his civic he got pulled over the night he finished tinting them
