i used rustoleum bbq paint. it should stand up. i read the can and it may work. worst case i have a ss headers, mild case it turns flat black, best it stays the same. but i would need a day or two to cycle the paint

I wanna see what they look like after a lot of use. Hopefully good! As of now they look really good. Hopefully that paint helps reduce any rust. I've heard several rumours about it actually not helping with rust. I'm no pro though, someone step in:D

I painted my exhaust last year with BBQ paint per recommendations on here. A month later the paint was rusted over.

i sanded the crap outa the headers
not so much the mufflers and tips. but they are holding up just fine.
