So just kinda probing for ideas and opinions,

If you had my car what would you do / do different? Performance wise I think I am all set looking for visual differences , outside, inside, underhood, whatever just looking for opionions,

And for those that will say it I will try the white wheels one more time with the hood on to see if I feel it. Allthough I prefer to not hassel with them anymore

As for what I have planned are the windows 35% in back.and sides and 50% down the front. Change the lettering on the doors. ( to say something slightly different than it does now) and some morimoto's later on

As for the hood it will get painted if nothing else to protect the fiberglass a little better but the color is not on yet.

i say stick with your black rims. Maybe paint the splitter on the front bumper black to go with the wheels. Otherwise i dont really see anyway of making it look better to me

How about an SD air dam and some black painted headlights to go with the rest of the black on the car. Even black fascias would look good.

I was strongly considering the black in the front and back. So that will probably happen. Considering blacking the grills when I do. Not sure on the headlights. I kinda like the clear jut have considered the black, but I am also trying to keep in mind for the future morimoto retro and what color to go with for that. Possibly make my own black lights?

DIY OEM black headlights are better than ebay black headlights just so you know. I have painted my stockers and just ordered the black depo corners from ebay. I recommend that if you decide to stick with the stock lights.

i would say to not black out the grills, keep them chrome to keep the color flow, if they were black the chrome lip of the rims would look out of place, even though i like the hood grey(even though it is gel coat) black with black fascia/valence would look stupid sick. it would really pull your car together. As Guz said black painted housings on the headlights would also be a nice touch. and get yourself some flip tails if you dont already have them. You would really be rolling in style if you did all that.

Well to tell the truth I have liked the look of this car for some time too.





But I think my wife.has a good thought too, as to keep the hood a grey color and replace the stickers on the door with a light gray color and.do the facias in the same gray or silver, and the grey is subtle as well as not common both of which I like.


And the grills are painted white, not silver or polished right now

Imo paint the hood white. Retro fit and paint headlights black. Grills black, black inlay for the license plate and rear and paint fascia black. all this = winner.

I sent you a friend request on Facebook to show you some of the mods i have done to my white one, and you can compare/contrast on what you like and don't like. If it were my white car as i own a white 2 dr gtp, i would take that ridiculous sticker off my door, IMO looks hideous. I would get some black projects, they look amazing on our white cars, I'd take off the pin stripe as that looks weird... smoke some tails and throw them on their, de-badge the trunk if you haven't already, and get some roof rails

That's what I did, the shadows in the pic and the lighting made it impossible to get a real grey.

not sure on the lip, esp at the price.

cant say i care for the gpo grills either.. i have a couple small ideas on making what i have look a bit better..

i dont want the projectors (spyders) i want to do my own morimoto retro, not sure on black or chrome though.

tails have some tint now.. but i would like to redo them or even better get the leds.

you can see the difference here.


and a comparison to another stock (the sun was quite bright, and they are not tinted that dark)

and the pinstripe is in prosses too. (the guy that is going to help paint the hood said he has a good way that dont take forever to take them off.)

I would paint the lower facia thing Black glossy (the way mines looks or mate) white grills, and the facia will go with the black wheels . Also id go with a white hood but ur choise black would look pretty mean to ! oh! ........ i would go get some led for the lience plate and paint the rear facia black gloss or mate as well and maybe get letters white or just leave it i left mines. One last thing get clear bulbs for ur corners give u a better clear look i can see the yellow bulbs in 2nd last pic

Did some stuff. If you could take pics of the simplest degree just like random angles and stuff it will make it easier to work with. i even gave you HIDs in the first pic.

Lunax, I am liking your work there. I will have a couple other variations I would kinda like to see if you wouldn't mind. I will post up what they are tomarrow when I get time and an acctual computer to work ( linking can be such a pain from phone).

And there is no way you saw orange in there I have not driven this car with anything other than switchbacks ( the 194 corners are orange) in the time I have owned it.


And that is an overlay for the arrow head. ( a white with silver edge) again on the car when I got it
