Half those Honda engine bays still suck. Euro's do it better
I'm doing my own shaved bay on the 91 and will be attempting something a little less extreme on the girlfriend's GP. It already has a little bit of wire tucking/rerouting and deleting of a couple different things with hers right now just to clean it up a little.
My philosophy behind shaving bays on a DD is keep it so you don't have to take the entire front end of the car off to get to a wiring harness but make it cleaner and simpler. For show cars though, just go completely crazy and hide/delete everything.

I'd love to see some shaved/tucked GP bays.

sorry for the shitty pics. but lets start this thread off w/ pics

you can remove the filler neck attachment for the windshield washer bottle
and have it behind the battery or cut it down so it's completely hidden in the fender
Image

also you could switch to a 97 coolant bottle for a iffy look, but i suggest a "chrome" overflow bottle from summit hidden in the front bumper by the rad
Image

any help in moving the battery to the rear
?

You think it would be hard to move the fuse box? I always thought about trying to move it to interior.

im in the process of somewhat doing it. not going for show car but just want a cleaner look. done half a wire tuck, gonna finish up the back half. its very hard to do with a turbo car, so much shit in one area. i think the vacuum block i made worked out well in cleaning it up.

still have to do fuek lines, oil lines etc. i may remove the fake braided sleeves. not sure i like.

The braided or colored silicone lines would look better that regular rubber/plastic lines. So I say keep them

It looks weird on a tiny motor like in the hondas, but ours might look good

If you sit back and start subtracting/ hiding unneeded or rarely used things you can clean up a bay pretty quickly, the wire tucking and rerouting of all the lines and hoses is what takes a long time. Even just getting rid/hiding/modifying the windshield washer bottle, airbox, plastic covers, cruise control module (non drive by wire cars), and coolant tanks, can make a big difference on a lot of bays.

That looks darn good and I'm really digging that coolant bottle. I might have to look into this for the girlfriends car.
