That's remind me I clean my old 1997 Oldsmobile Cutless Supreme. Somehow gas paper is under trunk carpet for looooooong time. I pull carpet out to clean it out. I find this 1997 gas price. Cheapest price ever! I think it was like $15 buck for whole tank. Man why could I born in 1950 instead shitty year now?

Pat, if you were born in 1950, in your 20's you could have been driving this beast:

And you would still be complaining about gas: 1973 oil crisis

Looks really good. Tan is a hard color to pull off with interior. Especially if you are trying to get a scheme going. These seat covers pick up where Pontiac left off and makes the interior more desirable. $520 for QUALITY seat covers isn't bad. The fit and finish appear to be well crafted and is snug and tight. It does a a nice job of giving it a factory look with an upgraded taste. A+ mod and money well spent. Nicely done OP.

well im not gona pull em off again but to give you an idea let me try and esplain.
They can easily be installed by two people and with some effort by one. My brother helped me out.

The Front headrests are like a pillow case with velcro securing straps at the bottom. Its a very VERY tight fit and will take some muscling to get the "pillowcase" to close over the headrest but it can take a fair amount of pulling so keep that in mind.

The seat backs for the front seats are like the headrests just not quite as tight. with two holes at the top for the head rest posts. You pull the seat back over the back of the seat and tuck the bottom of it under and through the back of the seat. The bottom of the front of the seat back is a Halloween costume type cheap kind of cloth but it is very flexible and basically you pull it as tought as you can and no joke pull it up like your giving the seat a mega weggie and the back of he seat back has a velcro part at the bottom that will secure with the part you tucked through. Again you need to get this as tight as possible so some tugging and test fitting will be necessary.
(note on the passenger seat you do the same thing but you can fold it completly forward making it a little easier to secure the seat back)

The front seat bottoms are the easiest thing probably you have a piece that fits over the seat bottom with nylon straps on either end tipped with clips. It was easiest for me to feed the front straps under the seat and grab them from the back then clip them then you tighten them like a back pack. Again dont be afraid to pull them really tight honestly the tighter the strap the better it will look but also use some caution you dont want to rip your seat covers.
(note on either side of each of the front seat bottoms is a elastic band and a small hook you can secure this any where you want under the seat it serves to kind of hold the sides of the seat down. I only secured it on the outsides of the seats because it would have been near impossible on the inside next to the center console.)

For the backs you will want to first remove the bottom of the back seat. This is done by reaching under the seat on either side this is where its nice to have a partner. Feel around and you will eventually find a pull cord attached to a plastic handle. yank this and lift on the seat. This step is repeated on both sides and will allow you to pull the back seat free. (At this point take a moment to appreciate all the lost possessions and what not lost under the seat.) Take the seat bottom to a table and the cover for the rear seat bottom attaches like the front seat bottoms you fit it over the seat then flip the seat over and secure the nylon straps pulling them good and tight so as to keep the cover from moving. Once you have the cover mounted firmly leave it, this will make installing the rear seat backs easier.

The folding portions of the seat backs mount in the same way as the front seat backs just without the removable head rests, obviously. Fold the seat backs forward pull the "pillowcase" like covers over them and "weggie" them secure. This might take a little while but remember the tighter the better as long as you don't tear it. Do this for both the 60 and 40 portions of the seat.

Now at this point you are looking at the small portions of seat to either side of the folding seat backs like "WTF they dont cover that?" have no fear go check the box again and you should find two small pieces shaped roughly like the two corners of the seats. There is not I guess good way to attach these....They are equipped with some plastic tabs that i guess are supposed to help but I found no use for just move the seat belt out of the way on the side that this applies to and hook it at the top and pull down securing it and tucking the edges in as best you can until your seat corners are secure and flush with your seat backs.

Last step Bring your rear seat bottom back in and set it in place this might take some jumping, sitting, and colorful language but basically you need to set the seat bottom in and line it up as best you can with where it was originally. Then force it down till it locks. I had to get the seat in and jump up and down on it to force it down enough to get it to lock again and i'm 170 pounds. Once the seat bottom is locked into place and the seat wont come out any more stand back and enjoy the look and maybe go for a drive.

Any questions please ask
