Ok so im basically completing my check list on things to do in my car before the year is over and the rear deck was one. Im a serious audiophile so i went with 4 Pioneer 6x9's sounds great i need 2 mids and highs amp to power my speakers cause i had them wired WAY to low and plan on adding more.

Start off with the tool of choice

Did you notice a high difference compared to running just to just 2?. Thought about doing this myself during spring time or I might possible relocate the 6x9 to the middle like yous and put in 10" subs where the stock 6x9 would go.

I actually started just 2 of them and during play i plugged in the others to see if i notice a change and the increase was amazing, it literally went from boy band to choir. Pioneer was always my top brand in car speakers cause of the rich sound, and as for 10s on the deck i will consider just keeping that area for speakers not subs, you will need excursion room and have to have it box.

well the 4" HD drivers i have in the front io already blew the woofer on the driver side still plays highs tho. As for the front doors it will be pioneer 4" and pioneer 6.5", as for rear door im still thinking bout it i was going to do pioneer 6.5'' but i dont think im going to need that much highs its already crazy loud, then come jan or feb i will be adding 4 15s, or 6 12s im really unsure which would be louder.

I didnt think it was when i bought them but through that long ass install and all that cutting im very please with the levels it can reach now, i thought i was loud before now if i turn it up 75% i get attention from the end of my block, if i turn it up 100% it still plays so crisp and clean and the bass from the 6x9s its like 2 10s shaking my trunk. This is my first car i was so please with.

pioneer subs? NO. Kicker all day over here.

I know you got harder hitters out there like SSA, FI, etc. But kicker is a clean sound to me i loved my L7 15 she took so much power and 4 Kicker CVR 15s will be BAD ASS!

2 questions

1. you didnt need any bracing for the center 2?

2 isnt there sheet metal where the center two are?
because in the 97'03 it's pretty solid

the rear deck in the 97 - 03 just has a few cut out's 2 for the 6x9's and then a few holes for the wiring. i'm asking if the 04+ does the same and if you had to cut the rear deck?
then the first question is whether you had to add supports for the center 2 6x9's because the 97 - 03 it's just a thin piece of carpet w/ added supports

ohhh yes i had to add support brackets to the middle ones just a thin piece of insulation there, i didnt have to cut the metal i thught i did but when i went to reinstall i saw that it cleared the clearance so it drop right in but there is hard plastic bracket holding the middle on from the bottom.

Ain't going to lie... if your shit is set up right, and you have DECENT ($300+ components, amped) stuff up front.. you shouldn't even need rear fill. Mine was even unnecessary, just did it too look awesome.

Looks good, but that's way much much sound for the rear. You need the majority of your sound up front.
