I'm pretty much new to the concept of modding. I was thinking of replacing my stock headlights with HID's (for the fog lights also). What is a good kit to buy and how much can I expect to spend?

DDM here as well. Have a set of slims on the GP and haven't had a problem with them at all.

I have ddm slims on my bike and they work great. I plan on two more sets when I get around to doing the projector Retro on both cars

And fyi there are many that will say don't put hid in stock housing's. And there are good reasons.

Yeppers. People like me  .... and some police officers  Oncoming drivers will be blinded from the scattered light and massive glare.

HID into a projector retro with cutoffs ftw... ;)

I run LiTech 8000k H1's in my morimotos in the summer and I just bought some silverstars for my stock housings for the winter...

BUT... considering I had to go through like a half dozen ballasts at my Parts Store (thank god I know the guy) before I got a good one under the one year replacement warranty, next time it will be DDM based on all the good feedback...

i would have figured the controled pattern would be better for winter driving. the cutoff i wouldnt think would light up the weather as bad. and still have good high beams..

i am planning on morimoto's for both cars.. ( summer and winter.)

so is there any cutting or drilling,or is it like they say just plug it in.
it sounds better than buying the hole HID headlights from ebay.thanks

Em don't go w/ a 55w kit for your headlights the glare is insane stick w/ 35w but be sure to aim them correct so you won't blind anyone.
