I'm having a problem with my new hid kit from DDM that I have never seen or heard of...I had Xentec kit before on my car, but a few weeks ago one of my bulbs finally went out and I decided to try the digital hid kit from ddm. So i get everything installed (yes, I have the relay harness) and my passenger side works great but my driver side hid wont turn on...I wait about 10 seconds and turn it off, and turn it back on in another 10 seconds...still nothing....I do that a few times and finally the drivers side turns on with a flicker for about 5 seconds... I thought, maybe it's a poor connection? So I went through all the wiring once again and even put a dab of dialectric grease on all the terminals. Still the same result....sometimes it turns on fine, but most of the times the driver side doesn't turn on and I have to finaggle with it a few times to get it to turn on... it's irritating going from a good, worry-free hid kit to this crap. Could I be having a poor connection, or just a bad ballast? Any ideas?

Try running without the relay harness. I have heard of DDM harnesses being defective.

Could be a bad ballast, that would be my guess anyway.

Swap the bulbs from one side to another. That should tell you if you have a bad ballast.
