It is a great alternative to powder coating imo because if it gets damaged it really doesnt matter cause it was so cheap. It holds up on my car as a daily driver for about 6 months before its faded and scarred enough that I want to remove it. Mainly the fading bothers me.

I did cheapie rattle can. Which is good because the brake dust made them dirty enough that i am just gonna paint them instead of clean them

dthreap plasti dipped his rims and they look really good. It's an extremely cheap alternative and it's very good looking. I was actually surprised that I liked the plasti dipped rims better than powdercoated ones. I'll tell derek about this thread and see if he can post some pictures.

Lowes or home depot, or online, and yes, just spray and wait, unless you tape off parts, thats the time consuming part

if you do this in white be sure to post pics, it may convince me.. but i will be intreseted to in how bad the brake dust sticks to it.. cause if it has to be redone because the dust wont wash off then i will stick to my cheap rattle can paint.
