Okay, here's my dilemma...
I want to stripe my car, but since the '04+ hasn't been done...
It's hard to wrap my head around a size of stripes and spacing.
Also, how far down the back do I go?
Blackwood has very generously PS'd the strips on the car for a front view.

Here's the pictures I was looking to get views of the stripes,
Check out the rear so you can give an informed opinion.
Thanks:

I think silver or white would work, thick stripes in red would be alot'a red...

I quoted that post to keep the size of this post smaller.

After I figure this out, I have to see if I can get it done in Vinyl or if I'm going to have them painted on...

I'm looking for constructive posts, but flaming would be fine as well...
If you like it, Like it but think there's a better way, or Hate it... Speak your mind!

Thanks!

Wrap around spoiler, top of reverse light, bottom of trunk-lid, bottom of bumper...
Hard to say, that's for sure...

I think that's a great idea! Seems like it makes the body lines stand out more when there's stripes. Looks good, FastKatt! I like the PS'd silver front fascia, too; that would be a good appearance mod for those who dont like or cant afford the SE or Inferno front lip

That's not my car on the top,
it was a Google pic I used because it was a better picture than I had of my car at the time

I do like it, but I have a thing for the "Black-Out" look of not painting the side skirts & lower accents.

i think it looks sweet! i dont think that many GM products if any came with stripes on the top. but it looks good on the PS version. i would be interested to see the rear and front with the stripes to make a final call but so far i think it looks sweet.

Yea, that WAS Tracy's car. She sold it a long time ago, back in May I think. She's rocking a 12 sec WS6 now.

^^^^I'm with her. Don't like it at all. Just me and Mir apparently because we appear to be in the vast minority.

Never really thought of doing this on a GP, but I think it would look good either way from hood, roof, to trunk or just hood and trunk, maybe I would do just the hood and the trunk.

I say go for it!! It's YOUR car. I didn't get around to doing it to my 2000 GTP(RIP), but I'm damn sure going to do it to my 07 GXP. Thanks for the inspiration. Just Do It.

So, it's been mentioned I should do it in silver & do the lower lip in silver to match...

That takes away from the "low-profile" Ghost Stripes or Flat Black / Carbon Fiber ones...

If the Air Dam is Silver, does that mean the roof would have to be done in stripes as well?

That's the idea, but my body lines aren't like yours.
I do think they need to stop about 1" before the end of the hood like yours

Anything you wish was different?
