Ok guys Only pic atm is a nasty cell phone one but I wanted to share. I recently ordered for fun a set of AVS headlight covers. They Look good to me but getting used to driving with them is interesting. I have been basically blinding people for 4 or 5 months with Streight HIDs, Now that I have the covers on its like driving with hallogens again. But oh well. Mabe i can find some even BRIGHTER HIDs to put in them . Heres the pic.

its like driving with weakish hallogens livable but i want to either find brighter HID bulbs which i dont think is likely. Since i already have 55watt 6k HIDs. Or wire in some 04+ fogs or after market fogs. I just want to find a write up on setting up 04+ fogs on a car not originally equipped.

trust me tinte fogs and heads really suck until they are off

they look like halogens and 5000k came out pure yellow when flip did them for me
so i suggest the darkest film you can find

Looks good, but I'd hope you have an extra set around... I wouldn't want to drive like that, light output is bad enough even with HID's.

Edit: My bad, I thought you meant you sprayed them with VHT Night shade, but I finally read you used AVS covers... I wonder how funky body color shades would look on our cars?!?

Body color may look really weird, those shades are like 50 bucks, dont ruin them, black looks sick

Like i said ill probably leave em stock and Im planing to retrofit 04+ fogs into it. To help add a little more light output.

I gave up on headlight covers in the 90's...

The law arround here makes you take them off on the spot as he's writing up the ticket...

Same here, thought about getting a smoked set once, but with my luck I'd either get a fix-it ticket or they would get swiped the first time I forgot to toss them in the trunk.. ;-)
