thanks guys, i didn't realize so many people had transfered over. I meant to make the switch back when everyone was getting banned (farnz and brian and everyone) but i never did.. not sure why. Maybe i'll start pokin around here more often. I just hate to come on here and look like a noob with 4 posts. HAHA..

Anyways. the wheels are 19x8" tork imagine's with 245/40/19 federal tires. I have held coilovers with ~ 3" drop. I just got the thing out after doing a big install on the engine and a lot of garbage, so those are the only two pics i have with those wheels on, but i have one of the rear from last year. I'll post that pending a photo shoot when i get this thing cleaned up. It's pretty dirty in these pics if you can't tell, oily hand prints on the car.

Damn, 3" drop!!!

I'm trying to find the right 18"s for my car...
I got a 1.7"-2" drop on an '04 Comp-G, had 17x8 35mm 255/45/17s but the offset killed it.
Thinking I may go with something like 18x8or8.5 42mm-45mm 255/40/18s
Still have some homework to do 1st...

I want 18s vs 19s for the cheaper tires (20s cost less as well, but more than I want on the car)

When I was looking for my GTP the last thing I wanted was a white car and/or a four door... haha! Well I found my girl and she was SUPER clean, with low miles and a good price and I couldn't pass it by!!

the wheels are 19x8 with a 35mm offset

you can run 35 on a lowered car, but you'll have to roll the fenders and you wont get away with a 255 tire, 235 or 245 will help you out a lot. I'd rather have a 40 offset or something closer to that, but these wheels were just too perfect to pass up. If they didn't fit, i was just going to machine them down to add some offset. But they work. Don't really rub too much, but it's not like there's ever going to be 0 rubbing on a car that low. They rub on hard bumps and if i crank the wheel. That's about it though really....

i'm workin on the SD lip. Just trying to figure out where to get one from, they are EXPENSIVE to ship! YUCK

i think i might pick one up when i go on a road trip to NY in july.

I also plan to lower the car about another 1/2" or more in about 3 weeks, if it's possible.. we'll see. I need to find a way to make shorter struts, and it's hard to find parts.
