I'm looking to get the overlay decals pretty soon but can't really decide on a color scheme. i was thinking of chrome lettering for the "PONTIAC" back bumper inserts with a reflective black decal for the GP trunk badge, Black nad chrome for the GTP badge and the Pontiac emblem on the front. I just wanted to get some feed back on that before i went through and bought the decals. Also My spolier has been making me cringe lately. Towards the end its starting the peel and crack which makes me so depressed. I was contemplating on getting a diffrent spolier of sticking with the stock. And to add to my probelms I need to retint my 11 year old windows because it's out of control bubling all over and has turned from black to purple. If only wiping butt for a living paid as much as it should :???: .

Where are you planning on getting your inlays from? I got mine from house of graphics in chrome. The rear inlays stick in pretty easily, but the front don't stay in and after driving in the rain they are hanging off. What color is your car?

I had the reflective black overlays at one time and they were hard to see during the day since the reat bumper is a dark color. It did look good with the reflective black at night. I like the domed fill ins that reflective concepts sells. They are much better than the vinyl fill ins. I have since had the rear letters painted to match the color of the car. Or you can get stainless steel letters http://www.ssinserts.com/index.php?main ... cts_id=109

I have a black reflective arrowhead overlay for my front emblem (not reflec-dome) and it looks good on a black car (if you like the blacked out look...). I installed it just before winter (last november) and so far it is still looking great and no problems yet. Recently I also got the black reflective rear inlay kit (with reflec-dome), you can't really tell they are there until the light hits em, again I like the all black look which is why I got em black. I got both of my decals from reflective concepts, they have fast shipping and great decals. For the rear, the reflec-dome makes the decals much easier to install since you actually have something to hold on too. I have pics of my rear inlay kit shining at night in my tinted lights thread (last post).

What color is your car and do you currently have any colored parts (your theme), is it silver or white (based on your picture)?

my chrome inlays look pretty good look at my thread SHAKE_ZULAS 06' GP pics
I think you can see the rear/front inlays in those views. I am going to get the dome ones from reflective concepts. The vinyl ones just peel off the front to easily, the back is fine.

I've been looking at the overlays on PFYC.com. I didn't know they had the reflec dome option for the back bumper overlay. My car is silver with the dark grey lower bumper so I think the chrome will stick out. I have nothing done with my theme yet besides the car color and window tint, I got a lot of work to do :)

Someone correct me if Im wrong here but I think the overlay's sold at PFYC.com are actually products from reflective concepts just beeing sold through PFYC.com as a reseller, probably for more exposure since PFYC has more through traffic. The sample pictures of the overlays are identical to the ones on reflective concepts, well they used to be at one point if they are not anymore...

It's not listed on PFYC but available through reflective concepts.

If you are keeping the lower bumper piece dark grey and you want the lettering to stick out even in the day(not just reflective), my first choice would be reflective silver with dome option, then either SS or Chrome inserts(obviously not reflective). If you plan on painting the lower bumper piece to match your car color, then you might as well wait until you paint it (or not if you dont mind buying another kit whenever you paint it), then I would go with reflective black letterring with dome option...again, that would be my choice with a silver car
