I know someone here did something similar, but can't remember who.

LEDs moved to the lower lip instead of the headlights. Looks pretty sick up close; got lots of compliments for it too.

do you have em facing up or down? and do you have one in the upper grille or is that just from those lower strips?

They're facing up, also lighting up the inside. These two strips are all I have like this. : P I have two small red ones hidden between the lining of my trunk and bumper (Hooked up to my breaks and blinkers), these bumper LEDs, and two more orange (short) LEDs on my blinker lights between the separation of the yellow and clear lens (Also hooked up to my blinkers) in the front.

They peel and stick usually, or sometimes you have to supply your own double-stick tape. Then just run wire to whatever you want to tap into: blinkers, DRL (are 3G DRL's PWM'd? could cause an issue) low beam, park lamps, keyed power, or even just off a switch off constant power.

It's pretty easy. I bought some extra wire for the extra length (Few bucks for like 60 feet of rolled up SMALL GAUGE wire at Home Depot or Autozone). There's a negative wire (Black) and red wire (Positive). As long as you hook them up right to something whether it be the headlights, blinkers, or straight to the battery, they'll work. I bought a 1$ wall light switch and attached it under my steering column (I'll take pics in a bit) where I can turn them on or off because cops out here look for this kind of stuff at night to watch out for. I have the (-) wire hooked onto a grounded bolt while the (+) wire is ran up the side of the fender to under my dash, hooked to the light switch, then to my ignition fuse wire. It's a pretty handy setup.

I also failed to mention: these strips do have a sticky layer on the bottom, but I also put a very small dot of super glue on each end of both LED strips just in case.

I ran the wire under the rubber seal between the fender and windsheild, then through the rubber seal next to the door hinge, then under my dash.

Autozone. 15$ for a pair.
